Following the release of the AMS Neve DAWSYNC plug-in for the DFC3D console earlier this year, AMS Neve announces a dedicated DAWSYNC Control Panel at AES New York, USB 9-pin interfaces and version 2 of the DAWSYNC plug-in.
DAWSYNC provides an elegant and simple solution for Machine Control integration with Pro Tools via an AAX plug-in, and other DAWs with VST and AU plug-ins.
The DAWSYNC plug-in provides instant lock from the DAW’s timeline to the DFC3D automation so that audio, video, and console automation instantly roll together without any delay, and without complicated synchronisation setups.
DAWSYNC also provides a virtual 9-pin interface for transport commands. The 9-pin implementation supports extended track arming, and PEC/Direct switching for three recorder DAWs from the DFC3D.
The DAWSYNC plug-in connects to the DFC3D via Ethernet making installation simple and convenient,, and is already in use on major mix stages in the USA.
The DAWSYNC V2 plug-in is available to all DFC3D users, pricing for the DAWSYNC Control Panel and USB interfaces is available on request.
