Medusa Studio takes delivery of Genesys G80
Medusa Studio BCN, one of Spain’s largest recording studios, has put the Neve Genesys G80 at the heart of its impressive facility with the help of CSS Audiovisual Technology, who assisted with the installation and set-up of the console.
The 400 square metre recording studios, which sits in a quiet area of the old district of Sants, Barcelona, boasts two recording rooms, a 50 square metre control room, chill-out area, machine room, and ‘Red Studio’, the personal recording and production room of one of the studio founders, Manu Guix, along with Roger Rodes.

The Medusa Genesys G80 console is the largest to be installed in Spain, and one of the largest in Europe. Each room is interconnected, allowing multiple recording options, with a CCTV system to allow visual communication with each recording room, the main control room and Red Studio.
