Almost every single nominee in this year’s Academy® Awards had their soundtrack mixed and/or music recorded on AMS Neve DFC and Neve 88RS consoles, used to produce the sound for last night’s winners. Notably, every nominated film in the Sound Mixing category had audio produced using AMS Neve’s DFC and 88RS consoles. These hugely powerful consoles dominated this year’s Academy Awards, being used to produce the sound for the winners.
The biggest winner on the night was ‘Mad Max; Fury Road’, taking home 5 Oscars – Costume Design, Film Editing, Production Design, Sound Editing and Sound Mixing – well deserved by the team from Warner Bros. Burbank, Chris Jenkins, Gregg Rudloff and Ben Osmo, mixing on WB Stage 10 on the AMS Neve DFC.
